Rangers

When I first met Nic, he was proudly standing in front of me with a Mesa Verde Junior Ranger badge and a Texas Ranger badge with his name on it pinned on his shirt. He was at Cliff Palace with his dad, cousins, aunt, uncle, and grandparents preparing to go on my Twilight Tour.

Once the tour started, I paused often to see if anyone had questions and Nic always would say "I do" and twist his lips a bit, a very endearing little habit of his.

This picture was taken by Nic's cousin Sara as Nic ran up to me and grabbed my hand, and Sara was kind enough to share it with me. It was taken on Wetherill Mesa the day after the tour we all had together.
