Top Thrill Dragster...aaaaaaaaaaaaahh!

It was a day out, at Cedar Point, America's Roller Coast (er). Cedar Point Amusement Park is located in Sandusky OH, right on Lake Erie. It's a beautiful place. I rode 7 different roller coasters, two of them twice. We had a great time.

And yes, I did survive this monster of a coaster. Taking off, one sits in a normal coaster position, but then the car is propelled to 120 mph up the tower and back down again. With a few twists. When we were in line, many of the cars did not make it up and over so they come back down backwards. It was a cool day, and breezy, and people said that was why some cars didn't make it over the hump. This was a wild ride, but not my favorite of the day.

That was reserved for "Maverick", a wild west themed coaster just put in last year. It's the craziest ride with the sickest turns I've ever ridden. Check it out online. http://maverick.cedarpoint.com/.
