Say Hello to My Little Friend

This guy, the Collared Lizard, became an instant hit on Saturday. He was out on the trail to the cliff site called Balcony House. I did four tours there that day, and enjoyed them very much. My little friend came out for a couple of the tours, and posed for every person on the tour. He was very gracious with his time, at least in the morning. I guess he had other things to do in the afternoon.

I am in training again right now. Two weeks of "newbie" training, because I didn't get to do it last year. That means that tomorrow morning I get to go into Cliff Palace, but not just like on a regular tour, REALLY into it, into the back where few people ever get to go. So, gotta go home and get some sleep. 6am comes really quick.
