Big Boy's Club

This is one nice group of deer I've seen recently. The first big group I saw had 7 monster bucks, but they didn't give me the same photo op as these guys. Nice, huh? These guys were really near my house, as I was out for a bike ride last Monday. Note the burn area - it makes it really easy to spot the wildlife when they are in this environment. It was a great day, because it was also the day I visited Shiprock. And I loved it all.

I've noticed some groups starting to mix a little more. We're getting close to the rut. I'd sure love to see some of these guys duking it out over some pretty little doe.
