From Lizard Head Trail

This is one of my favorite scenes from recent photography. I was hiking up Lizard Head Trail, near a place called Wilson's Meadows which was on a high plateau in the San Juan Mts., and just so happened upon this amazing scene. It was a glorious day for my first mountain hike since getting to Colorado.
