Sioux Falls Sunset

This is a shot of the Sioux Falls skyline from its namesake, the Falls of the Big Sioux River. It was Dec. 30, and really cold, with a wind in my face: I didn't stay out there very long to take the picture. I love twilight.

I am aware that I have some complaint in me about Sioux Falls. Note the buildings you can see: Old Courthouse on the left, new county courthouse in the middle, and the catholic church on the right. That's highly symbolic of the culture of Sioux Falls. But everyplace has their control structures. I realize it's all part of the culture, and may change slowly, if at all. But things are changing. It's my job to enjoy my life, and that's just what I intend to do.
