This painting hangs in my apartment. It reflects my love for western SD. This is one of my favorite pieces that I have painted. I am really missing my dad, brother, and other family, and the land we hunt deer on. Tomorrow is opening day of west river deer season and I would love to be there. It is great 'guy' time. I also think of Grandpa J and miss him more now than ever. But then, when I miss him, he is closer to me because I'm thinking of him.
